What people say about Kyle:
Bob Buzas, Creative Director, Saatchi Wellness Worked with on BOOST Kyle Alexander is an absolute blast. He knocked himself out for us -- from shooting in a wet suit and paddle board, to running madly after people and dogs and a hot air balloon. All for that certain shot.He keeps pushing until he gets the shot, then goes beyond -- from charming subjects to open up, to nailing just the right light and composition for a super shot. He surrounds himself with a smart, talented, fun team. Don't know when I've laughed so hard. Do yourself a favor and shoot with this guy. You'll get the goods and a good time too.
Dawn Kleidon Managing Art Buyer, DraftFCB Healthcare Worked with on: Dulera Asthma Medicine “Kyle is amazing. He is a great guy and a fantastic photographer. Kyle will always come to mind for jobs across the board. The clients loved Kyle. My team loved Kyle. He was the MVP of our team and a great asset to any shoot I would produce.”
Peter Schaer VP, Creative Director, LANE TERRALEVER “Kyle’s photo/video story telling abilities and mastery of composition provided a truer vision of Phoenix than even local photographers could deliver. Steering clear of the stereotypical, his approach featured authentic moments and gorgeous lifestyle shots that have the ability to change people’s perceptions and open their eyes to the true Phoenix experience. Throughout the two day shoot for VisitPhoenix.com, Kyle’s energy never faded and his expert team never lost momentum. The shoot not only delivered thousands of images, but captured the energy and vibrancy of our great city. Kyle Alexander is our go-to photographer for all lifestyle imagery.
Michael Boyd Design Director, Rolling Stone Magazine ”I look to Kyle as an extension of our creative department. His experiences have made him acutely aware and responsive to the nuances and aesthetic hallmarks we value most within our brand. In addition, his imagination and technical abilities always push our vision forward. His candor, sense of humor and personality are welcome added bonuses.”
John Kunichika Art Director, Sapient Nitro Worked with on: Foot Locker “Kyle was great to work with through every phase of our job. He delivered images that captured all the action, atmosphere and vitality that was essential for the assignment, and both the Agency and Client were very pleased with the outcome. Further, his enthusiasm and professionalism helped to turn every challenge that arose into an opportunity to find technical and creative solutions to keep us on schedule and within budget. I look forward to the opportunity to work with him again. “
Amy Carleton Art Producer, Wieden+Kennedy Portland Worked with on : Target “Kyle has the all the ideal characteristics of any photographer I want to work with. He's super buttoned up, yet humorous, nice, easy going, can make anyone comfortable in front of the camera, and has fun all at the same time. He is super professional and his style is effortless and fun. I'd love to work with him on any job.”
Mike Wolfsohn Chief Creative Officer, High Wide and Handsome Worked with on : Clos Du Bois Wine “While Kyle's book speaks for itself, it doesn't tell the most important part the story. Sure, he delivers beautiful images with a signature style, but it's his approach to getting those results that sets him apart. Kyle is one of the most collaborative photographers with whom I've had the opportunity to work. He understands that it's not about capturing the shots he wants for his book, it is about getting the shots the agency needs for its campaign. In pre-production, he asks all the right questions, then rolls up his sleeves to find the best locations, talent, set design, and props. On-set, his collaborative approach enables him to put everyone, from crew members to clients, at ease, yet he always maintains complete command of the production. And in post, his levels of enthusiasm and involvement are just as high. His hands-on approach to film editing and retouching gives me the confidence that we're going to get exactly the shots we need. At our agency, we have a very short list of can't miss, go-to photographers, and Kyle is on it.”
Sharon Mendelow Senior Freelance Producer “I have worked with and known Kyle Alexander for almost a decade. His enthusiasm, creativity, and integrity are limitless. He works well with a team and will do whatever it takes to pull off the impossible. “
Chelsea Brink Senior Art Director, 160over90 Worked with on: UCLA “What sets Kyle apart is his ability to capture the authenticity of any situation he is in. I’ve never seen someone with such a talent for putting people at ease. We shot a Library of images during 6 shoot days and had around 16 setups a day on our shoot and Kyle managed to nail them all each day and a add a few that were unplanned. I was amazed how much we would accomplish each day and thought it was incredible how much fun we had while doing it.
